Since graduating from Melbourne University Raquel worked in mixed and small animal practice for 8 years in Australia and the UK. She began her business Integrated Veterinary Therapeutics in 2012 treating horses and small animals with Equine Muscle Release Therapy and then Animal Biomechanical Medicine.
Raquel has studied many therapies including the Masterson Method, Equine EcoSomatics (Craniosacral), Vetkin Taping, saddle fitting, laser (photobiomodulation) therapy, Myofascial acupuncture with Dr. Kerry Ridgway, Acupuncture Oriented Energetics with Dr. Christian Torp and Myofascial Kinetic lines with Dr. Rikke Schultz.
Raquel has been mentored by Sharon May-Davis and in 2015 she began teaching clinics in Equine Anatomy and Palpation, Equine Biomechanics, Equine Veterinary Biomechanical Assessment and Equine Vetkin taping, to practitioners and horse people in Australia, UK and Holland
In 2018 she accepted a position at Charles Sturt in Wagga Wagga teaching Equine Science. Raquel has her own horses and is passionate about equine rehabilitation.
