Originally from Sweden, Jill moved to Australia in 2008 and graduated from Murdoch University in 2012 with a Bachelor of Veterinary Science in Veterinary Medicine and Surgery (BSc BVMS).
Prior to becoming a veterinarian, Jill was riding and competing at a high-level in show jumping both in Sweden and Germany. Her passion for the equestrian sport has carried over into her career as a veterinarian where she has worked in both Equine as well as Mixed Animal Practice. She has carried out duties as a FEI Treating Veterinarian and also been involved as a Medication Testing Veterinarian at various equestrian events. Jill is still a keen horse rider and regularly competes at show jumping events in WA.
After completing her Graduate Diploma in Animal Biomechanical Medicine (ABM) Jill founded The Biomechanic Vet with the aim of integrating ABM with more traditional veterinary care to achieve a comprehensive approach to animal health and function, a model that she has seen applied in Europe for many years.
